LANCASTER, Pa. – Caroline Hubbard has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball player of the week, announced Monday. The honor is the first of her career.
Hubbard paced Franklin & Marshall with a 9.75 assists per set average last week as the Diplomats captured a pair of CC victories. In a 3-2 win against Gettysburg on Wednesday, the junior setter tallied a season-high 50 assists and filled out the stat sheet with six digs, five kills, two block assists and an ace.
Against Dickinson on Saturday, Hubbard led a 3-0 sweep by racking up 28 assists, four digs, a serve ace and a kill. She currently leads the conference in assists per set with 9.87.
The Diplomats' overall record stands at 22-4, while F&M holds the top spot in the conference with a perfect 9-0 mark. On Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. the Diplomats close out the regular season by hosting Muhlenberg (7-1), and look to clinch the top seed and home court advantage heading into the playoffs.
