Crawley and Swisher Reset School Records

LEWISBURG, Pa. –- Sheena Crawley and Rebecca Swisher both reset their own school records Saturday at the Bucknell Winter Classic. The event featured teams primarily from Division I and II with a handful of DIII schools and was non-team scoring invite.

Crawley reset her school and Centennial Conference record in the mile. The senior crossed in 4:52.18 to place first in the field of 40 participants and went on to take sixth in the 500-meter with a 1:21.58 as the only DIII runner in the event.

Swisher vaulted a height of 11'-3.75" in the pole vault and tied for first. The freshman previously set the school record earlier this year at 11'-5.75". 

Ariel Lefkovits and Olivia Bendit had a good showing in the 200-meter. Lefkovits placed 22nd in 27.88 followed by Bendit at 27.96.

Bridget Grogan took eighth in the 800- meter Friday evening at the Ursinus Open with a time of 2:39.6.
