HAVERFORD, Pa. -- Sheena Crawley set a school record in the 1000 meter run at Saturday's Jack Pyrah Invitational hosted by Villanova. Crawley finished in 3:01.83, nine seconds faster than the previous record held by Shannon Weir '08. Weir recorded a time of 3:10.68. The invitational was a non-team scoring meet and featured athletes from all three divisions.
Crawley placed fourth in the 1000m, crossing eight seconds behind winner Ariann Neutts from Villanova. Her time was the fastest of any division III runner.
Megan Hunter placed second in the 800m run. Hunter crossed the finish line at 2:24.83, one second behind Swarthmore's Lauren DeLuca.
F&M returns to action on January 23rd when the Diplomats travel to Susquehanna. Meet time is scheduled for 10:00 am.
