F&M Edged by Swarthmore

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall women's tennis gave the region's No. 8 ranked team all it could handle, but ultimately fell short by a narrow 6-3 score against Swarthmore on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) competition.

The Diplomats, who are ranked No. 15 in the Atlantic South, fell to 8-6, 5-3 CC, while the Garnet remained undefeated in the Conference and improved to 9-7, 8-0 CC.

By the Numbers

F&M kept the score close after doubles play with a clutch 9-7 win from the duo of Emma Wu and Stefana Vujinovic at No. 3, to head into singles down by a 2-1 tally. The top of the order was strong for the Diplomats as Allison Wolters (No. 1) and Sarah Haas (No. 2) were victorious.
