Diplomats Blank Green Terror

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team delivered an impressive 9-0 blanking of McDaniel on Tuesday in Lancaster.

The Centennial Conference (CC) shutout improved the Diplomats' record to 4-3, 2-0 CC on the year while the Green Terror fell to 0-8, 0-2 CC.

By the Numbers 

F&M outscored McDaniel by a 24-4 margin in doubles competition to roll into singles play ahead by a 3-0 tally. From there, the Diplomats secured wins in every game of singles competition, which included a trio of eight-game pro sets.

Alex Collins (No. 4), Stefana Vujinovic (No. 5) and Alex D'Angelo (No. 6) each captured their contests in 6-0, 6-0 straight sets. 

The win over McDaniel was the 38th in a row for F&M, which is good for its longest active win streak against an opponent.
