Diplomats Dropped by No. 15 Mary Washington

FREDRICKSBURG, Va. – Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 contest against the nation's No. 15 ranked team Mary Washington on Sunday morning. 

The defeat moved the Diplomats to 0-2 on the spring season while the Eagles, who are also ranked No. 5 in the Atlantic South region, continued to roll at 3-0.

By the Numbers

Each of the six singles matchups resulted in straight sets for Mary Washington. Alex Collins battled at No. 5, securing several games but was ultimately undone by 6-2, 6-4 scores.
