F&M Shuts Out McDaniel

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Franklin and Marshall visited McDaniel on Wednesday afternoon for Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action, tallying a dominant 9-0 victory.

The Diplomats moved to 6-2, 2-0 CC with the result, while the Green Terror dropped to 1-5, 0-2.

By the Numbers

Three wins in doubles play gave the Diplomats an early edge. C.J. Rummelsburg and Gavriel Rubenstein logged an 8-0 victory at No. 2, while Allison Wolters and Nicole Russo cruised to an 8-1 decision at No. 1.

F&M continued the onslaught in singles, finishing up the 9-0 match score. Russo rolled at No. 2, winning 6-0, 6-0, while Jingzi Wu took a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3. Wins from Wolters, Stefana Vujinovic, and Sydney Fass plus a default at No. 6 handed the match to the Diplomats.
