LANCASTER, Pa. – Five different swimmers earned individual victories for Franklin and Marshall women's swimming on Friday night, defeating McDaniel by a 94-81 score in Centennial Conference (CC) competition. The Diplomats improved to 3-4, 3-1 CC with the victory.

Top Finishes

-Katherine Hirsch got the night started on the right foot for F&M, claiming the first individual event of the night with a time of 2:03.84 in the 200-yard freestyle.

-Melissa Mullin raced to victory in the 400-yard IM, touching the wall in 4:49.27 to take first place.

-Grace Pereles was next to earn individual honors for the Diplomats, winning the 200-yard butterfly in 2:20.62. She was followed Diane Wagner, whose time of 2:24.53 was good for second.

-F&M again took the top two spots in the 500-yard freestyle, led by Caroline Fry's time of 5:30.31. Rebecca McCain took second with a time of 5:32.21.

-Anna Hess secured an individual win as well, clocking a time of 2:13.98 to win the 200-yard backstroke.

Other Notable Performances

-Erin Fago rushed to a second-place showing in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 25.53.

-Hirsch added to her victory in the 200 free by earning second in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 57.42.
