LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall placed 19 student-athletes on the Centennial Conference (CC) Academic Honor Roll Wednesday. To be nominated for the Academic Honor Roll, a student must meet the following criteria: (a) participates in at least 50 percent of contests, matches, or meets, or in the Conference varsity championship in swimming, indoor track & track or wrestling; (b) a sophomore or higher in class standing; (c) cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.
The women's swimming team placed nine athletes on the list. Seniors Katherine DeCrosta, Catherine Shaw, Lauren Siegel, and Julia Vogel, juniors Krista Hollingsworth and Christen Dinger, and sophomores Caitlyn Fuller, Alexia Tomlinson, and Sarah Weyl received the honor.
Women's indoor track & field also added seven athletes to the honor roll with seniors Margaret Capp, Claire Marshall, Caitlin Regan, and Catherine Westerduin and juniors Kathryn Allison, Lauren Dever, and Bridget Grogan.
Men's swimming had four members on the honor roll with sophomore Jin Hwang, juniors Ryan Anella and Zachary Wilt, and senior Scott Rownd. Junior Colleen Bott and sophomore Samantha Plunkett represented the women's basketball squad.
