Diplomats Handle Wesleyan to Open CSA’s

PRINCETON, N.J. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 17 women's squash team rolled to an 8-1 bashing of No. 24 Wesleyan on Friday in the opening round of the Walker Cup (C Division) at the CSA Team Championships. 

The Diplomats improved to 6-12 with the victory while Wesleyan fell to 10-10. 

By the Numbers

A total of six sweeps were won by F&M, including 3-0 blanking's at the No. 2-4 positions on the ladder. Only two matchups went past three games, including a comeback effort from Liana Zranchev at No. 9 that saw her battled back from an 11-8 opening-frame loss to capture three straight. 

The Diplomats have now won five straight against Wesleyan and are 14-9 overall against the Cardinals.
