Diplomats Fall at No. 3 Penn

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall fell to Penn, 9-0, in women's squash action on Thursday night in Philadelphia. The 17th-ranked Diplomats drop to 3-7 with the loss, while the third-ranked Quakers improve to 4-1.

Penn took each of the nine matches in three straight games to secure its second straight shutout win. Roxanna Mead (11-4, 11-7, 11-3) and Halley Cruice (11-5, 11-5, 11-3) posted the most competitive scores of the evening for the Diplomats at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively. 

The Diplomats return to action this weekend with five matches at the Pioneer Valley Invitational hosted by Amherst, Mount Holyoke and Smith. F&M opens play on Saturday against Smith at 9:30 am.
