LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Amanda Zambrano (Sr., Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) has been named to the October 31 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Honor Roll.
Last week, she scored in a 3-1 loss to Johns Hopkins University in the regular season finale.
A second team All-Centennial Conference selection, Zambrano leads the Diplomats in goals (eight), game winning goals (five) and points (19) this season as she has scored eight goals with three assist for 19 points.
A 2003, 2004 and 2005 Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll recipient for holding a grade point average above 3.4, she was previously named to the 2003 second team and 2004 honorable mention All-Centennial Conference squads.
A September 6, 12, October 3, 24 and 31 Centennial Conference Honor Roll recipient, she was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2004 and 2005 Law Firm of Gray, Patterson, Cody & Taylor Women's Soccer Tournament hosted by Franklin & Marshall College.
For her career, she has 40 goals and nine assists for 89 career points as she is one goal behind Mary Kilgannon '87 (41) for fifth in goals at the College and ranks seventh in points.
Franklin & Marshall (10-5-1, 5-5 Centennial Conference) could continue its season next week in the six team Eastern College Athletic Conference Southern Region Tournament. An announcement is expected early in the afternoon of November 7.
