Zambrano Named to October 3 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Amanda Zambrano (Sr., Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) has been named to the October 3 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Honor Roll.

Last week, she scored twice, including the game-winner midway through the second overtime period, to lead the Franklin & Marshall College women's soccer team to a 2-1 double overtime victory at McDaniel College in Centennial Conference action in a 1-0-1 week.

On the year, she has six goals and three assists for 15 points as she ranks third in goals (0.75) and points (1.88) per game, first in game-winning goals (four) and seventh in assists (0.38) per game as she leads a Diplomats' team which ranks fifth in goals (2.00), fourth in goals against average (0.72), eighth in saves (4.38) and fifth in shutouts (0.38) per game.

For her career, she has 38 goals and nine assists for 85 points as she ranks eighth in points and is tied for sixth in goals with Heather Rice '03 in school history.

Franklin & Marshall (7-1-1, 2-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season at Dickinson College on October 5. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
