LANCASTER, PA -- The Franklin & Marshall College women's soccer team is ranked among the Centennial Conference's best in the Conference statistics for games through September 20.
Individually, Amanda Zambrano (Jr., Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) leads the CC in goals (1.20 gpg) and ranks second in points (2.40 ppg) as she has tallied six goals for 12 points in five games. Kelly Cassels (So., Downingtown, PA/Great Valley) and Emily Knapp (Sr., Ellicott City, MD/Notre Dame Prep) are tied for fifth in assists (.400 apg) per game as the duo both have two assists so far this season.
In goal, Melissa Ruff (Sr., East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) leads the Centennial Conference in save percentage (.889) and goals against average (.80). In addition, she ranks fourth in saves (32) and is tied for seventh (one) in solo shutouts.
As a team, Franklin & Marshall ranks seventh in scoring offense (1.80 gpg), first in scoring defense (.80 gpg) and is tied for seventh in shutouts (one).
Franklin & Marshall (3-2, 0-1 CC) will continue the season on September 21 at home versus Susquehanna University. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
