Diplomats Rank Among September 13 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Statistical Leaders

LANCASTER, PA -- The Franklin & Marshall College women's soccer team is ranked among the Centennial Conference's best in the September 13 conference statistics.

Offensively, forward Amanda Zambrano (Jr., Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) ranks first in goals (2.00) and points (4.00) with six goals for 12 points, while defenders Kelly Cassels (So., Downingtown, PA/Great Valley) and Emily Knapp (Sr., Ellicott City, MD/Notre Dame Prep) are tied for second in assists (.667) per game with two apiece through the team's first three games.

In goal, Melissa Ruff (Sr., East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) ranks second in save percentage (.895), third in goals against average (.670), fifth in saves (17) and eighth in shutouts (one).

As a team, Franklin & Marshall ranks fourth in scoring offense (3.00 gpg), second in scoring defense (.670 gpg) and sixth in defensive shutouts (one) as the Diplomats have scored nine goals while allowing two in three games.

Franklin & Marshall (3-0, 0-0 CC) will return to action a September 15 at York College of Pennsylvania. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
