Zambrano Named to September 12 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Amanda Zambrano (Sr., Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) has been named to the September 12 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Honor Roll.

Last week, she scored twice in the first half and assisted Shannon Summers (Fr., North Wales, PA/Hill) in the second half to lead Franklin & Marshall College to a 5-1 victory over Goucher College. Historically, Zambrano moved into eighth place on the F&M career-scoring list, passing Allison Hurley '02 (27-22-76), as she has 35 goals and nine assists for 79 points in her career.

In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, she leads the Conference in goals (1.0 gpg), assists (1.0 apg) and points per game (3.0 ppg) as she has scored three goals and three assists for nine points in the Diplomats first three games of the season.

Further, she ranks second in game-winning goals (two) and anchors a team that ranks fourth in goals (3.00 gpg), third in goals against (0.67 gpg) and fifth in shutouts (0.33 pg) in Centennial Conference.

The accolade marks Zambrano's second recognition of the season by the Centennial Conference as she was also named to the September 6 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Honor Roll.

Franklin & Marshall (3-0, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 13 at Susquehanna University. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
