SELINSGROVE, PA - Sarah Evans (Jr., Brookeville, MD/Westtown School) scored at the 58:56 mark and goalie Robyn Jones (Jr., Titusville, NJ/Pennington) made two saves on eight shots as the Franklin & Marshall College women's soccer team remained perfect on the season with a 1-0 win at Susquehanna University.
The game was a battle of halves as Susquehanna out shot the Diplomats 5-3 in the first half, but Franklin & Marshall fired off eight shots in the second half and held the Crusaders without a shot on goal in the final 45 minutes of play.
In goal, Jones stopped both of Susquehanna's shots on goal in the first half as she now has 18 shutouts in 44 career games, an average of a shutout every 2.4 starts, as she transferred to Franklin & Marshall from Division I Rutgers University prior to the season.
Overall, Jones has allowed one goal in 270 minutes of play as she has a .917 save percentage (11 saves on 12 shots on goal) and a .333 goals against average with a 3-0 record.
