Diplomats remain perfect with 1-0 win;

Shannon Summers headed one in near post in the fifth minute off of a corner kick to give Franklin & Marshall (5-0) a 1-0 win over Susquehanna Tuesday afternoon at Franklin & Marshall.

Athena Monalokas got the assist as the Dips opened the contest with a barrage of uncontested shots. F&M outshot the visitors 19-5 and allowed only one shot in the second half.

Keeper Robyn Jones got the shutout; she had four saves on the day.

Coach Steve O'Day's squad returns to action Saturday, Sept. 16th with its first conference match of the season - a 12 noon date with Swarthmore.
