Women's Soccer Embarks on 11-Day Tour of Ireland

LANCASTER, PA - The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team is on an 11 day goodwill tour of Ireland.

The Diplomats are slated to play three matches in Limerick, Westport and Dublin during the trip while visiting the west coast of Ireland including the city of Ennis in County Clare, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Cliffden, Westport, Inishbofin, Limerick City, Galway City, County Sligo and Dublin.

Franklin & Marshall will open the 2005 season by hosting the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on September 2-3 at the College's Baker Campus with Eastern Mennonite University, Marymount University and Roger Williams University.

EMU will play Roger Williams at 3:00 p.m. on Friday before the Diplomats face Marymount at 5:00. The championship game will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with the consolation game to follow at 3:00 p.m.
