BRYN MAWR, Pa. – No. 1 Franklin & Marshall defeated Bryn Mawr 18-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats improved to 9-2, 3-1 CC while the Owls fell to 1-9, 0-4 CC.
Paige Moriarty had two scores and three assists, Grace Norley struck three times while Melissa Judge, Natalie Delinsky, Clare Monaghan and Danielle Wilson all scored twice. Claire Miller, Siobhan Burke, Bridget O'Donnell and Yen Baker each had a goal and Hannah Serling finished with a goal and two assists.
Katie Groenke had four draws and Judge finished with three.
Danielle Harrington improved to 9-2 with the win.
F&M outshot Bryn Mawr 25-0, won 17-of-20 draws and held an 11-3 edge in ground balls.
The Diplomats return to action on Tuesday when F&M travels to Messiah for a 4:00 p.m. game.
