F&M Takes Fifth at CC Championship

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall placed fifth with a two-day total of 799 at the Centennial Conference (CC) women's golf championships at Hanover Country Club. The Diplomats shot a 407 on Sunday after an opening-round 392 to nab fifth in the seven-team field.

Gettysburg captured the team title with a tournament record of 677, and the Bullets' Kara McNulty secured her second straight individual crown with a victory on the first playoff hole over McDaniel's Morgan Koopman. 

Lauren Caffee was the top finisher for F&M, concluding play in a tie for 15th with rounds of 95-91 (186). Kathleen Smith also registered a top-20 placing with scores of 87-102 (189).

Saira Dar took 23rd by carding rounds of 98-105 (203), while Katie McKiernan rounded out the Diplomat scoring at 112-109 (221).
