ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Grace Gallagher shot an 83 to earn a first place finish at the Muhlenberg Invitational at Lehigh Country Club Tuesday. Franklin & Marshall finished third out of five teams with a combined score of 437.

McDaniel won the tournament by 12 strokes with a total score of 376. Gettysburg followed in second with 388, and the Diplomats in third. Susquehanna finished fourth with a score of 457, and Muhlenberg did not finish the round.

Gallagher’s score of 83 was five strokes ahead of second-place finisher Marybeth Scott from Gettysburg. Maria Hower finished 13^th for the Diplomats, carding 114. Saira Dar finished 16^th with a score of 116, and Katherine McKiernan recorded a 116 for an 18^th place finish.

F&M travels to the Berkleigh Country Club on April 16 for the Kutztown Invitational. Tee time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
