F&M 10th; Duckloe Earns All-Region

NEWVILLE, Pa. – Greg Duckloe finished 25th to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 10th place finish at the 2012 Men's Cross Country Mideast Regionals on Saturday. The race featured 343 participates from 55 institutions. The 10th place finish is the highest for the men's team in the John Stoudt era. 

Duckloe is close to national qualifying time, but will have to wait until tomorrow evening to find out if he earned a trip to the NCAA National Championships next weekend. 

The senior finished the 8k course in 26:06.5 to earn his second straight All-Region honor while Bobby Over from Allegheny ran 25:09.6 to finish first. 

Bryan Andrews (26:22.3) missed being named All-Region by one spot with a 36th place finish.  

Tim Merlino took 86th at 27:23.7 and Josh Wesalo and Luk Olenginski finished in the half of the field with a 27:55.5 and 28:23 respectively.  Francis Blancero (28:50) and Andrew Foley (29:06.1) completed the F&M team.
