Bell and Arce Finish in Top 20
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Ryan Bell and Angelo Arce finished in the top 20 to pace Franklin & Marshall at the 44th Annual Little Three meet. Dickinson defeated F&M and Gettysburg in head-to-head scoring to capture the meet for the 13th consecutive year.
Bell logged a 16:54 to for 15th place, crossing 56 seconds after the meet champion, Greg Leak of Dickinson. Leak covered the five kilometer course in 15:58.39, .44 seconds ahead of teammate Nick Karwoski. Dickinson swept the top four spots and six of the top ten in the field of 52 runners. F&M's Angelo Arce was the only other Diplomat to finish in the top 20 with a 17:04. Erik Olsen and Francis Blancero each finished in the top half of the field with respective 23rd and 25th place finished. Olsen logged a 17:31 with Blancero 13 seconds behind. Josh Wesalo rounded out the Diplomats top five with a 17:54.
F&M returns to action on Sunday, September 26 when the Diplomats travel to the York College Invitational.
