WAYNESBURG, Pa - Ryan Bell paced the Franklin & Marshall men's cross country team at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships held at Waynesburg on Saturday, finishing 64th overall with a time of 27:10.
In similar fashion to the women's race, five Centennial Conference teams finished in the top 10. Carnegie Mellon secured the men's title with the top runner in Brian Harvey. Allegheny came in second and Dickinson placed third.
Bell averaged 5:28 per mile to finish first on the team, while junior Franklin Dekker was second on the squad placing 174th in 28:59. Running in a time of 29:47, Jeffrey Hindes was the 206th athlete to cross the finish line.
Junior Ryan Birnbaum kept a 6:02 pace to get an overall time of 29:56 for 213th place and Mike Dohrmann ran 30:55 for 238th, while Bryant Robinson was the final runner for the Diplomats and clocked in at 31:15.
