GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Ryan Bell finished first on the team and in 62nd place overall with a time of 28:34.81 to lead Franklin & Marshall men's cross country at the 2008 Centennial Conference Championships held at Gettysburg on Saturday.
The Dickinson Red Devils upset Haverford for the men's title led by top finisher Greg Leak with a winning time of 25:37.84, stopping the Fords at 15 consecutive crowns. The Diplomats finished ninth overall as a team.
Jeffrey Hindes took 73rd overall and second on the squad in 30:08.84, followed by Mike Dohrmann in 85th. Dorhmann completed the 8K course in 31:01.51 for his best time of the season.
Bryant Robinson and Ryan Birnbaum finished one place apart. Participating in his first championship, Robinson ran 31:49 for 89th, while Birnbaum came in 90th with a time of 31:57.76.
