Bell Leads Mens Cross Country at Little Three
CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson swept the top six spots to
capture the Little Three Men’s Cross Country Championship
raced on the Red Devils’ home course on Tuesday.
F&M’s Ryan Bell was the Diplomats’ top finisher
crossing 14th out of the 58 runners from F&M, Gettysburg and
Dickinson.
Bell posted a mark of 16:57, crossing 45 seconds after the
champion, Dickinson’s Andy Gregor. The time delivered Bell
his second top 20 finish in as many Little Three Championships. He
placed 16th in the race as a freshman with a time of 17:14. Bell
was F&M’s only top 20 finisher in the race.
Franklin Dekker was second amongst F&M’s runners and 26th
overall with a time of 17:32. Erik Olsen placed 33rd at 17:49,
while Jeff Hindes took 41st in 18:26. Ryan Birnbaum ran an 18:55
for 44th and Bryant Robinson finished in 19:36 for 49th place.
Trevor Donnelly and Michael Dohrmann crossed in 51st and 52nd
places with respective times of 19:42 and 19:44.
The Diplomats will run their second race of the year this weekend
at Penn State when F&M competes in the Harry Grove Spiked Shoe
Challenge.
