LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall senior, Justin Herbert, ranked 18th at 174-pounds according to the WrestlingReport.com’s final Division I rankings.
Herbert finished the season with a 23-13 record and was one of 52 wrestlers selected for an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament. He was F&M’s first NCAA Qualifier in 11 years.
Herbert wrapped his career with a record of 82-39. He also finished with a school record of 35 pins. He ranks fifth on the F&M career wins list, one victory ahead of Mike Parziale ’06 and one behind Hall of Famer, Vic Bernardino ’94.
He was a two-time National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American, and is a candidate for the honor again this year.
