F&M Competes at Susquehanna

SELLINGSGROVE, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall competed at the Susquehanna Invitational Friday evening hosted by Susquehanna University. The meet featured primarily Division III teams and was a non-team scoring event. 

Luk and Greg Olenginski turned in the third and fourth fastest times in the one-mile with Luk finishing at 4:25.38 and Greg coming in 4:28.61. Taaj Amin finished third in the 60-meter with a time of 7:19 and two relays placed second and third for F&M. 

The 4x200 of Amin, Nils Michaelis, Brad Krell and Derek Pawlush finished third and the 4x800 took second at 8:37.02. The team consisted of Pawlush, Adam Eller, Francis Blancero and David Raffman. 

Vincent Acosta led the way in the field with a fourth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 42'-8".

F&M returns to action at the Ursinus Open next Saturday.
