Dickinson Upsets Franklin & Marshall 6-1 in Men's Tennis

CARLISLE, PA - Alex Chester (Sr., Coral Gables, FL/Palmer-Trinity) recorded a 6-2, 6-2 win at #1 singles for the Diplomats victory as Dickinson College stunned Franklin & Marshall College 6-1 in men's tennis.

Dickinson (13-6, 5-3 Centennial Conference) took the doubles point via a sweep as the Red Devils recorded 8-4 and 8-0 wins at #1 and #2, respectively, before taking the #3 match by default.

In singles, Dickinson captured the #2-6 matches to defeat the Diplomats and improve its record to 29-66-1 all-time against Franklin & Marshall in men's tennis.

Franklin & Marshall (9-6, 5-3 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on April 29-May 1 at the Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Swarthmore College and Haverford College.
