Diplomats Stop Gettysburg Bullets 5-2 in Men's Tennis

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College used four singles victories and the doubles point to defeat Gettysburg College 5-2 in Centennial Conference men's tennis action.

In singles, Alex Chester (Sr., Coral Gables, FL/Palmer-Trinity) rolled past Hans Hardisty 6-4, 6-4 at #1 before Joakim Stenbeck (Fr., Westport, CT/Greens Farms) downed Derin Wilson 6-3, 6-1 at #3, Dan Lindenberg (Sr., Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) upended Foster Post 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 at #4 and Ben Michelman (So., Severna Park, MD/Severn School) defeated Matt Salter 6-3, 6-4 at #6.

The win marks the seventh straight for the Diplomats over Gettysburg as Franklin & Marshall improves to 86-12-2 against the Bullets.

Franklin & Marshall (7-4, 3-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on April 16 at home versus Ursinus College. Match time is set for 1:00 p.m.
