Franklin & Marshall Edges York 4-3 in Men's Tennis

YORK, PA - Franklin & Marshall College won four of the six singles matches to edge York College of Pennsylvania 4-3 in non-conference men's tennis action.

The Spartans earned one point by sweeping the three doubles matches and then won at #4 and #6 singles for three points. However, F&M took the #1, #2, #3 and #5 singles matches behind the play of Alex Chester (Sr., Coral Gables, FL/Palmer-Trinity), Joakim Stenbeck (Fr., Westport, CT/Green Farms), Andrew Mayer (Jr., West Chester, PA/East) and Ben Michelman (So., Severna Park, MD/Severn), respectively to earn the win.

Franklin & Marshall (4-3. 1-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on April 9 at home versus Muhlenberg College. Match time is set for noon.
