F&M Men's Tennis Gains First CC Win

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's men's tennis team picked up its first Centennial Conference win of the 2007 campaign, knocking off Ursinus 8-1 in Collegeville on Saturday.

The Diplomats got wins at all positions except fifth singles. The first through fourth singles players all won in straight sets. Ben Hart did not drop a game in the fourth spot. He joined Dave Janerich at second doubles for an 8-4 win.

Franklin & Marshall improved to 2-6 on the season with a 1-2 mark in Centennial competition. The Bears fell to 0-8 (0-3 CC). F&M returns to action on Thursday at home against McDaniel. Sunday's match has been postponed.
