30th Ranked Fords Down Diplomats

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Alex Witt-Landfeld's win at sixth singles provided the Diplomats with their only team point as F&M fell 8-1 to Haverford, ranked seventh in the region and 30th in the nation, on Wednesday. Playing in his first match of the season, Witt-Landfeld defeated David Fischer 6-4, 6-2. The loss drops F&M's record to 1-5 overall, with a 1-2 mark in the Centennial Conference. Haverford remained unbeaten at 6-0, with a 3-0 Centennial mark. The Diplomats return to the courts on Saturday at Ursinus.
