Sean Kelleher enters his sixth season as head coach of the men's and women's tennis teams in the 2013-14 school year.
Under Kelleher's watch, the men's team has posted a mark of 49-38, been consisently regionally ranked, and has earned four straight Centennial Conference (CC) tournament appearances. In 2011, the Diplomat men reached the CC title game for the first time in school history. The women's, meanwhile, has shown steady improvement under Kelleher's tenure, securing the most victories (8) since 2006-07 last season while narrowly missing out on a CC playoff bid.
A 2005 graduate at the College of William and Mary, Kelleher was the top doubles and singles player for the Tribe all four years. He was a four-time All-CAA selection in doubles and singles, while becoming the first player in William and Mary history to be named Conference Rookie of the Year.
Upon graduation, Kelleher continued his tennis career and has finished as the No. 1 singles and doubles player in the Middle States Tennis Association (MSTA) Men's Open Division for the past two years. In addition to playing, he has been teaching all ages and levels of players at the Wisehaven Tennis Club and Bent Creek Country Club. Kelleher has mentored three players to silver medals in the PIAA State Singles Tournament and one player to a No. 1 ranking in the MSTA.
