Kelleher Named Coach of the Year; Four Diplomats All-CC

Complete All-Centennial Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's tennis coach Sean Kelleher has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Coach of the Year, while four Diplomats earned All-CC recognition announced Thursday. In singles, Ross Silverberg was a first team selection and Tommy Weibye earned second team honors. Silverberg and William MacArthur landed on the first team in doubles, while the duo of Weibye and Nolan Bacchieri earned honorable mention.

Kelleher earned Coach of the Year honors for the first time after guiding F&M to an 8-8, 7-2 CC record, a No. 26 nation ranking, and a trip to the CC semifinals. He has led the Diplomats to a combined 38-29 mark over the past four years.

Silverberg (Cherry Hill, NJ/ Cherry Hill East) is receiving his third All-CC nod, earning a first team selection a year ago and a second team pick in 2010. He also nabbed a regional ranking for the first time in his career, with a No. 10 ranking in the ITA Atlantic South. The junior ranked first on the team in singles wins, posting a 14-5 record at the No. 1 position.

Weibye (Saddle River, NJ/ Saddle River Day), a sophomore, is making his way onto the All-CC Team for the first time in his career. The No. 2 player recorded an 11-5 singles record this season, which was the third highest win total on the team.

MacArthur (Gaithersburg, Md./ Magruder) and Silverberg notched their second All-CC honor as doubles partners. The pair of juniors teamed up at the No. 1 spot for an 11-5 record, ranking second on the team in doubles wins. The duo received second team honors a year ago.

Bacchieri (Kennett Square, Pa./ Tower Hill School, DE), a freshman and Weibye posted a 14-6 record this past year, to earn second team doubles accolades. The No. 2 pair ranked first on the team in doubles victories.
