LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall men's swimming returned the pool on Friday night, taking first place in five of the first six events on the way to a 98-80 victory over McDaniel. The Diplomats improved to 3-3, 2-1 CC with the victory.
-Richard Perry earned F&M's first individual victory of the night, cruising to the win in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.30.
-Eric Dietrich-Peterson was the next to top the podium for F&M, leading a sweep in the 50-yard freestyle with a mark of 22.43. He was followed by Ryan Caffrey in second (22.80) and Keith Kamons in third (22.84).
-Daniel Sanders led another sweep in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 50.21 to claim first place. Matthew Murphy (second, 50.32) and Kamons (third, 50.62) filled out the rest of the top three.
Other Notable Performances
-Cody Kalinowski turned in a quality performance in the 200-yard butterfly, taking second in 2:06.58.
-Timothy Gould reached the podium as well, finishing the 200-yard backstroke in 1:59.69 to take second.
The Diplomats finish off a busy weekend tomorrow by visiting Ursinus at 1:00 p.m.
