Diplomats Topple Williams

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 13 men's squash team put forth its second impressive showing of the week, this time downing No. 19 Williams by a 7-2 score on Friday evening at the Mayser Center.

The Diplomats improved to 3-5 with their second straight win while the Ephs dropped to 6-5. 

By the Numbers 

Five of the nine matchups in the competition went past three games with Cole Osborne going the distance at No. 1 after a 3-2 thrilling win for F&M. Behind 2-1, Osborne battled back with a 14-12 marathon win in the fourth, before closing out the contest with an 11-3 victory in the fifth.

Three of the Diplomats' wins came by way of 3-0 sweeps with Shams Abbas (No.3), Gavan Hitchenor (No. 6) and Kareem Nabil Abdel Mawla (No. 9) all blanking their opponents. F&M has now won seven straight against Williams, dating back to the 2009-10 season.
