LANCASTER, Pa. - Senior forward Brandon Corday (Morton Grove, IL/Niles Township) has been named to the 2007 NSCAA/adidas NCAA Men's Division III All-America first team.
Corday becomes the first Centennial Conference (CC) player to repeat as a first-team All-American and is the second Diplomat in program history to be named a two-time All-American, joining Gerald Husted (1956-57). The two-time captain was recently named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region first team, after garnering back-to-back CC Player of the Year honors, another feat no other player has accomplished.
"Brandon is one of the classiest, hard-working kids I have ever coached," said head coach Dan Wagner. "His servant-leader attitude, combined with his unbelievable work rate helped build the foundation for our program.
Corday, a four-time All-CC first-team selection, finished his career with 34 goals and 25 assists. This season alone, he netted 10 goals and recorded six helpers to break F&M's all-time assist record.
The Diplomats finished with a record-setting 15 wins and just four losses, while returning to the NCAA tournament for the second straight year.
