Series History: F&M travels to Gettysburg this Wednesday having captured four-straight games dating back to 2008. These teams last competed on Oct. 24th of last season, when the Diplomats came away with a 3-1 win at home.
F&M welcomes Dickinson to Lancaster on Saturday looking to build on a 34-19-9 all-time series lead. Last time out, the red Devils got the upper hand in a 3-0 shutout on Oct. 27th of last season. The Diplomats last victory in the rivalry comes back in 2010 with a 3-0 win.
Last Week: Two second-half goals proved to be the difference as F&M fell 3-1 to Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) action Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats dropped to 9-3-2 (2-3-1 CC) while the Fords improved to 9-4-1, 3-2-1 CC.
T.J. White turned away four shots and went to 9-3-2 while Sam Miller improved to 2-1-1 with six stops for the Fords.
Haverford held a slight advantage in shots, 15-13, while the Diplomats had a 6-5 edge in corners.

Fighting for a Spot: with just three CC contests remaining in the season, F&M stands on the cusp of the fifth and final CC playoff spot. The Diplomats record of 2-3-1 in the conference is good for a three-way tie in sixth place along with Muhlenberg and Gettysburg. All three teams have seven points on the year and trail Johns Hopkins, Ursinus and Haverford who sit tied for the third spot with nine points each.
Among the Elite: As a team, the Diplomats rank fourth in the nation in shutout percentage (0.64) and 16th in goals against average (0.55), while White ranks 21st in goals against average with 0.551.
Record Book Watch: Beaver's second-half tally against DeSales on Oct. 9th moved him into sole possession of second place on F&M's all-time goal-scoring list with 41. The senior forward is now just three shy of tying Scott Runyon's school mark of 44.
In the Rankings: F&M fell out of both the D3soccer.com and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Rankings this week.
