LANCASTER, Pa. -- Bradon Corday '08 was signed by the Chicago Riot as a free agent earlier this week. Corday, a native of Morton Grove, Ill., and standout at Niles West High School, played for the Chicago Storm during the 2008-2009 XSL season, tallying a goal in 11 matches.
A two-time CC Player of the Year and four-time All-Conference first-team choice, Corday capped his career being named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region first team for the fourth consecutive season. He was named to the Jewish Sports Review All-America first team two straight years.
Corday became the first Centennial Conference (CC) player to repeat as a First-Team All-American and the second Diplomat in program history to be named a two-time NSCAA/adidas All-American.
Corday finished his career with 34 goals and 25 assists. In 2007 season he netted 10 goals and recorded six assists to break F&M's all-time assist record.
The Chicago Riot Soccer Club plays in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). All Riot home games are at the Odeum Expo Center, located in Villa Park, IL, just 15 miles west of downtown Chicago.
The MISL represents the Major League of professional indoor soccer in the United States and features the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league currently has five member clubs for the 2010-11 season: the Baltimore Blast, Chicago Riot, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets and the Omaha Vipers. The 2010-11 regular season began on November 12 and will end on March 13. The postseason will begin the following week and conclude at the end of the month.
