Rayman and Wilkinsky Receive All-Centennial Honors

Two members of the Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse team, were named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) squad, announced on Tuesday. Justin Rayman (Forest Hill, MD/Loyola-Blakefield) was named to the league’s Second Team. Noah Wilkinsky (Ardmore, PA / Valley Forge Military) earned Honorable Mention. (more)

Gettysburg opened up a 3-0 lead through the first quarter and never looked back in a 12-5 win over Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) men’s lacrosse action on Saturday. (more)

Diplomats Survive Shoremen

It looked like déjà vu all over again. As it went in Wednesday’s overtime defeat by McDaniel, Franklin & Marshall’s men’s lacrosse team held a three-goal lead late in the third quarter. This time it was Washington College making the late charge, and the Diplomats (4-8, 2-5 CC) hung on for a 7-6 win over the Shoremen (8-5, 4-4 CC). (more)

Terror Downs Dips in OT

Matt Daley scored his fourth goal of the night nine seconds into overtime to lead visiting McDaniel to a 10-9 victory over Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) men’s lacrosse action. The Green Terror (9-4, 3-3 CC) used a two goal run in the final three minutes to send the game into extra play. (more)

Travis Gregory’s two goals in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference as Franklin & Marshall lost 9-8 to visiting no. 11 Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) men’s lacrosse action Saturday night. (more)

Diplomats Snap Three Game Skid

Noah Wilkinsky cashed in on Franklin & Marshall’s 39th shot of the night to deliver a 7-6 overtime win at Ursinus in Centennial Conference (CC) play Wednesday night. The victory snapped F&M’s three-game skid and gave the Diplomats (3-5, 1-2 CC) their first CC win of the season. (more)

Dickinson raced out to 5-1 lead in the first quarter and settled in en route to a 10-4 Centennial Conference (CC) win over Franklin & Marshall in men’s lacrosse on Saturday (more)

Swarthmore Sneaks by Diplomats

Will Predun’s three points (2g, 1a) performance proved to be the difference as Swarthmore (3-3, 2-1 CC) defeated Franklin & Marshall (2-4, 0-1 CC) 8-6 in Centennial Conference (CC) action Wednesday. The Garnet outscored the Diplomats four to two in the second half, as Ben Young netted the game-winning goal with 7:03 left to play. (more)

Cavallaro came to Franklin & Marshall after five seasons as the head assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania. With Cavallaro as the Offensive Coordinator, the Quakers advanced to the NCAA playoffs in 2004 after a 17-year absence from NCAA postseason competition. The 2006 edition of Penn lacrosse also worked its way into the Division I Championship Tournament.
