Quick Leads Franklin & Marshall to Seventh Place Finish at Fisher Naz Men's Golf Shootout

MACEDON, NY -- Mark Quick (Jr., Forest Hill, MD/St. Pauls) shot a two round score of 161 (85-76) to tie for 18th place and lead the Franklin & Marshall College men's golf team to a seventh place finish at the Fisher Naz Shootout at Blue Heron and Irondequoit Country Club courses.

Ben Madonia (Jr., Clinton, NY/Clinton) carded scores of 85-76 to finish second for the Diplomats with a two-day total of 166, while Kevin Penhallegon (Fr., Glen Arm, MD/Loch Raven) and Matt Oscadal (So., Lebanon, NH/Lebanon) tied for 31st with scores of 167 (83-84). Joe Murphy (Fr., Vienna, VA/James Madison) rounded out the team as he shot 170 (87-83) over the par 71 and 72 courses.

Overall, Scott Cruff of Susquehanna earned medallist honors with a combined score of 147 (77-70), while Rochester (312-317) and St. John Fisher (317-305) tied for the team title with scores of 622.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on October 16-18 at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational.
