MORAVIAN - After tying a school record two weeks ago with a 300, Coach Glenn Robinson's men's golf team put the exclamation point on an already successful fall with a 298 Thursday afternoon at the Moravian Invitational.
The record outing placed them second among 20 teams, finishing only behind Susquehanna, which fired a 296.
Third, fourth and fifth went to Keystone, Moravian and Dickinson, respectively.
For the Dips, freshman Andrew Woods continued his hot play, firing a 70 to lead the squad. Chuck Antonnen came in with a 75, Rob Moriarty a 76 and Dennis Gunderson a 77 to pace the squad.
Joe Fucigna turned in an 81.
F&M's fall tournament place has consisted of a first and two seconds in three tournaments this fall.
