Men's golf team ties school record!
Sept. 7, 2006
Backed by freshman Andrew Woods' 71, the men's golf team opened its season at the 12-team Elizabethtown College Fall Invitational and emerged as champions. F&M's 300 was good enough to hold off close competition from Susquehanna (300), Moravian (305), York (306) and Gettysburg (309) among others. The Diplomat's 79 at the #5 position gave them the win over Susquehanna (80). Woods' 71 tied him for low medalist honors, though he ended up officially second after a playoff. Rounding out the top five for Glenn Robinson's squad included Woods, sophomores Bryan Hartog, Ross Brown and Chuck Anttonen, and freshman Robert Moriarty. They will be in action again Thursday, Sept. 14th against Wesley at 12 noon
