Weather Forces Play to Conclude at McDaniel Invite

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Day two of the McDaniel Spring Invitational held at the Bridges Golf Club has been cancelled due to weather, making yesterday's day one results the final scores for the event. The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team placed sixth (324) through 18 holes, while St. John Fisher's (305) led the 18 teams followed by Rochester (307) and York (315).

Brad Lankler finished 13th with a seven-over 79 to lead the Diplomats. Dave Gilbert carded 80 on the par-72, 6,713-yard course and placed 16th. Nick Palladino finished in front of the field of 89 golfers at one-over 73.

Daniel Furman came in at 82 while Robert Svigals finished in 41st place with an 83. Henry Richards completed the Diplomats five with an 89.

F&M returns to action on Thursday when the Diplomats compete in the Elizabethtown Invitational at the Hershey East Country Club beginning at 12:00 p.m.
