Diplomats Compete at Quaker Invite

PINE HILL, N.J. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team finished 13th at the Quaker Invitational hosted by the University of Pennsylvania Monday afternoon. The Diplomats finished the two-round event with a 660 in the field of 16 teams, primarily Division I, on the par 71, 7,370-yard Trump National Golf Course. Results were not made available until late Tuesday evening by the host institution. 

Danny Liebowitz led the way for F&M shooting 85-75-160 to place 22nd in the 85-player field. Cameron Warner took 33rd (86-76-162) while Kevin Goserud carded 82-85-167. Brendan Mohler and Harry Russell rounded out the Diplomats five. Mohler finished with a 175 and Russell came in at 179. 

Austin Powell from Penn won the invite with a 76-71-147, while IUPUI won the team title.

F&M returns to action on Sunday when the Diplomats compete in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Invitational at the Hershey East Country Club.
