Golfers Tied Seventh Through Round One

HERSHEY, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team is tied for seventh place amongst the 15 teams competing at the Mid-Atlantic Region Invitational. The Diplomats combined for a 323, leaving F&M tied with St. John Fisher and Westminster (Pa.), 19 strokes behind first place Washington & Jefferson, halfway through the 36-hole tournament at the Hershey Country Club.

Diplomats' freshman Danny Liebowitz is tied for 13th place with a 77, six strokes over par on the 6,830-yard course. Elmira's Brandin Christo is in the lead with a 73 (+2). Three players are tied one stroke behind.

F&M's Brendan Mohler is tied for 36th with an 81 (+10), while Cameron Warner is tied for 42nd (82/+11). Joe Fucigna (83/+12) and Rob Moriarty (84/+13) round out the F&M contingent.

The final 18 holes get underway on Monday at noon.
