LANCASTER, Pa. -- Kickoff 14 - the Centennial Conference's annual football preview day - is set for Wednesday, August 6, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Franklin & Marshall.
The Centennial's 10 head football coaches will be on hand to talk about their prospects for the upcoming 2014 gridiron season. In addition, each school will also bring a student-athlete to add to the day's festivities. Senior linebacker Ryan Young will represent the Diplomats.
Kickoff will begin with a State of the Conference address by Steve Ulrich, Executive Director of the Centennial Conference, while Jim Corpora, coordinator of officials, will discuss rule changes for the new year.
The coaches take center stage at 10:45 a.m. Each coach will talk for 10 minutes with the media and also have a one-on-one conversation with an emcee in a more informal setting. Players will be available throughout the morning.
