Men’s Rowing Wraps up Competition at Dad Vail

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – A pair of boats represented Franklin & Marshall's men's rowing team at Saturday's Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia, concluding competition at the prestigious event.

In the Petite Final of the pair without a coxswain race, the duo of Lukas Grattan (2) and Joel Cannon (1) secured fifth out of sixth boats with a time of 7:39.416. The duo finished ahead of Division I's Georgia Tech (7:49.672) while Pittsburgh finished first (7:25.733).

Tamir Shemesh (coxswain), Aidan Molloy (4), Sean Hyland (3), Ben Carroll (2), and Trexler Hirn (1) placed fourth out of six boats in the Lightweight 4+ Petite Final event, outpacing competitors from William & Mary (7:09.012) and Iona (7:17.163). Minnesota claimed the title at 6:51.772. 

The Dad Vail Regatta concluded the 2017-18 season for F&M's men's rowing, who is set to return to the water in the fall.
